Jax Goss, editor of Latchkey Tales, themed collections of speculative fiction and poetry, has started a crowdfunding effort to support publication of an Omnibus of art and writing from the magazine’s first year of operation. Among the other writers and artists who have had the good fortune to be published in Latchkey Tales, my short story, Vacation’s End, which can perhaps best be described as dystopian steampunk, appears in Elementals 4: Wings Of Air.
In addition to selling a quality product, Jax is also using this crowdfunding venture as a way to provide higher, more professional payments to the writers and artists who make up the Latchkey Tales community, an admirable goal as this community member will happily attest. In addition to purchases of both electronic and hard print copies of the Omnibus, those interested in helping Jax’s campaign can also make direct contributions.
