Grand Larceny Aboard GDI Raffaello is the lead story in issue number four of Tigershark. The theme of this issue is Victoriana and steampunk. My story is not set in the Victorian era, but does involve an airship, a nuclear powered one. Rather than call it steampunk, however, I prefer to deem it Fellini Punk, my first and possibly only effort to develop a new sub-genre.
I repeat myself when I say that one of my stories is a favorite, but I have two strong reasons for very much liking this yarn. The first, as previously mentioned, it has an airship in it, a subject of continual fascination to me since my childhood. Two, this story has a Scooby-Doo ending. How many fiction writers can say anything like that?
Levity aside, I think this is a good story, part of a very well designed and laid out magazine with a lot of interesting poetry and short fiction beside my contribution.
