A daimon, a wolf in man’s form, terrorized a city, demanding a young, beautiful virgin as an annual sacrifice. That is, he did until Melkart came along.
The story’s in the Winter Solstice 2023 issue of Eternal Haunted Summer, an e-zine dedicated to original poetry and short fiction about the Gods and Goddesses and heroes of the world’s many Pagan traditions.
