A sprinter about to race or a wounded soldier about to die?
Alphanumeric 8: The Art Of War is now available online. Zoetic Press, the publisher, states that this issue “challenges the modern reader to understand the principles of engagement, and how those principles are every bit as relevant in modern culture as they are in ancient situations of battle.” My short story, The Arrest, is an excerpt from my fantasy novella, Escape From Byzantium.
