Wings Of Air, the December edition of Latchkey Tales, is very close to publication. Editor and contributor Jax Goss has recently posted an update on its status. The edition will feature five original short stories, to include one of mine, and three poems. The stories all have the same general theme. My story, Vacation’s End, is another dystopian speculation (I seem to do that a lot lately for some reason) only with a steampunk twist and can be briefly summarized as: a spoiled brat goes on an airship ride and learns that life actually isn’t a bowl of cherries. A daunting vision of a downright terrifying future? Possibly, but also a damn good yarn and a riveting read, if I do so opine myself.
